I was wondering is anyone having anxiety with hot flashes? This seems to be a new symptom I am having.
Also, I just started taking Celexa, 4 days now and I am wondering if this might be the cause. The Dr prescribed 10mg but I am cutting them in half. Any advice or suggestion would be appreciated.

I heard about hot flashes as symptoms of anxiety. But myself I had them as a side effect of prozac. They went away a few weeks after I stopped taking it and came back when I started again. Honestly, I would rather have them than my back pain. Good luck for you.

i dont know your meds so am not sure if that would contribute to this, but i have had hot flashes with anxiety, they not nice.

I think it might be the Celexa. And if it is the side effect will probably wear off. If it doesn't within a week ask your doctor. Hang in there.

There are many many symptoms of anxiety and panic attacks and not everyone will get all of them. I have heard,read and experienced hot flashes as a symptom of panic and anxiety. You are not the only one getting these.

Menopause plays a major role in getting hot flashes. Anxiety does also. I notice when I start to get anxious my body reacts this way. No fun at all.
