Yea, my anxiety fixations can get at me so hard that I even forget what it felt like to have jealous wives blocking my career path. I'm a retired lady engineer, so not even my not "hot" physique deprived me of that experience. Girl howdy, I am embarrassed when I catch myself wanting to pump my husband with jealous wife questions about his co-workers. Shouldn't *I* know better? Am I lucky that I get to blame ^it^ on my 60's conditioning?
Sigh. . . Anxiety is not a logical beast. It helps to have therapy supporters who help me keep the anxiety beast tamed. Hope it helps you, too.

I know the feeling and the problem is so real but am guessing your husband primary motive before he even saw the lady was to get help at the office. Just as we admire other women and men so do men also admire pretty ladies too. Sometimes it may be just a mere comment or physical admiration for the young lady. One thing that I try to do is not to let someone outside our home be the reason of our misunderstanding at home. The person is out there peacefully sleeping or relaxing while may I worry about them. I try to settle all issues before it drains my peace of mind. “What if’ it will never have any impact on your husband then you would have worried for nothing. Until the undesired happens let focus on ‘what if’ its good. I pray God give you peace in these challenging moment.
