I hate the crowds and it took me all day so far just to get my shower out of the way and now its already 2:15 and i need to get grocery's but I have too much anxiety. I am trying some camomile tea to see if it helps me move out that door but so far I just want to go back in my safe warm bed.. Anyone know of a better calming remedy besides camomile tea? I can't have anything related to floral plants because I am allergic to everything! Doctor is taking me off my xanax because she is new my old one is retiring and I think she thinks I didn't need it. I am just following doctors orders and am almost off it but the anxiety came back fierce to where I'm almost agoraphobic again and I don't like this anxiety at all. I can't control it!

Another tip, because crowded stores - especially the lines - can be a trigger for me too. I try to go do my grocery shopping early in the morning before others get out and about or late at night. I shop at Super Walmart or Super Target, so they are open 24 hours. It is much more relaxing to shop when there are only a couple of other people in the store and no lines. If you have to go during busy times, just try to focus on one thing at a time - I have a list and I just focus on getting each item and ignore those around me. You can even wear earbuds and listen to calming music while going through the store if it helps.
