Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
I decided to take a closer look and Voila.......it sent out a chain reaction beyond all reason. I ranted for 2 whole days before that aha moment hit me head on.
I had stopped looking for a reason and it just came to me.
I see my therapist in a few weeks and we will be uncovering the whole truth about my anxiety.
I really feel I have hit the core. I have spent years un peeling the onion so to speak.....but now I can tackle the core problem.
For the most part the anxiety is gone. It tries to life it's ugly head......but when I get the first symptom.....I nip it in the bud, but the trying to raise up is the first indication I have not dealt with the core issue. So...hand in sword, I am not afraid of the beast any more. I know what I am up against.
I say don't try to search for the answer.....it will more than likely come to you and you will be able to face it head on.....but you have to be open and allow it.
I hated my body for a long time and felt deceived by it.....getting mixed messages. That is why I waged a war on it instead of directing my hate and anger towards the right thing/person(s).
My body just held it all in until it could not hold no more.....hence the anxiety.
I hope when the time is right, the aha moments will lead you to release and peace :)
Remember.....your life is a journey. It is not a place you arrive at, you are always on your way there.
I know how hard anxiety is......it is the great mystery of the universe and conquering it is very hard, but not impossible.
It shows us that we can not control certain things. We should concentrate on what we can control and know that things are constantly changing and moving......nothing stays the same and is in the process of working out details. Time has a way of changing all situations and peeps. Find comfort in the things that are good and positive and let the changes happen....ok?
Hang in there and I'm glad your son is safe ((((((Hugs)))))))))
It reminds me of a video I saw a few weeks back. This person who was dealing with anxiety was describing exactly what you were: the anxiety takes away from your enjoyment, it has impacts in various placed in your life, you're tired of it...etc. And that is what it came down to - they basically said they decided they just didn't have "time" for their anxiety anymore. All the insecurities and doubts had been exhaustively thought about over and over - so they would just say "Yea, yea insecurities - no time today" and go on with their morning...
Maybe its simplifying things, but it certainly made me feel like I could try pull up my socks and find some commitment within....
Inositol is a vitamin I spoke to my pharmacist about today; apparently its quite good for the nervous system and anxiety sufferers, so the vitamin route seems very promising :)
Thinking of you!
