Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. I really hope you get thru that gate Reed!! :)
And Sammy, I think you're right - I have to just get out there and try stuff. When I don't have anxiety and I push myself, my comfort circle is bigger so that's good.
During the week and this morning before class I experienced what I imagine people without anxiety experience. I felt just fleeting moments of nervousness that quickly moved through.
If that was "normal" then normal nervousness vs. anxiety is like a paper cut vs. amputation.
Of course, I've always respected the challenges of having anxiety but getting a break from it, I just want to put this out there to everyone with anxiety - DAMN, YOU ARE AMAZING!
To go through what we go through day after day and to still get things accomplished? That takes an ENORMOUS amount of courage and bravery and strength and it is really impressive.
I am also seeing how different the world looks without anxiety and it's incredible. I hope everyone who struggles with anxiety gets a break from it at least for a time because it really gives you an entirely different perspective of everything.
It feels like you are born again and looks life a totally different way. You are so lucky..Well I know that has nothing to do with luck but work on yourself. Can you explain what you did to go out of anxiety and what worked for you ?
Thanks

I was having dizzy spells and my dr was dismissive so I went to a new dr and when I told her my symptoms she said something I have NEVER heard from a dr. She said, "I think I know what's wrong with you. I think you may have a fairly common mutation in your MTHFR gene."
Turns out, I do. And because of it, I can't convert the folic acid in food to folate so the folic acid is building up in my body like a toxin and I'm low on both folate and B12. Both of these vitamins are absolutely CRUCIAL to good mental health.
So that's it. I take these vitamins and I haven't had anxiety in weeks. Pretty amazing.
