Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
To my friends, here, we have a house. It was not easy and today was no different, but we finished and have a new house.
1. Lesson Looking in retrospect, I lost my way, I heard a sermon, Where are you, and it rang a bell. I lost my way somewhat, some of my values, and got too much into the fancy house, impressing other people, and obviously without a house then faced challenges. Please note every person who helps and does a good job has value. There's no shortage of $100,000 plus wedding, but an impressive post features a bride making 4 girls with serious disabilities cerebal palsy, down's syndrome, her bridesmaids and seeing their happiness. So for people down on themselve, look at the central question are you making things better, if so, you're important and successful.
2. Moving in
Now, I'm trying to figure out how to make the process the least stressful. Should I still pay for a hotel, we're getting into financial challenges.
3. Psychiatrist
My wife has an appt tomorrow, she has refused to take most of the recommended drugs for anxiety; what should the psych do now.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
We are not there in person, however, moving into a new house will provide a direction for moving through the challenges you both face now.
Your wife is using her anxiety as her 'crutch' and instead of letting it decide anything, start focusing back on simple yes or no questions. If she starts on her 'feelings', get the focus back on 'facts'.
This is an excellent opportunity to jumpstart her 'thinking doing' instead of 'thinking in'.
Excellent that you have the house! Best wishes moving everything and getting settled in!
1. Medication and skills . Met with the psychiatrist. and he noted her excellent social skills, came on time, ask him how his summer was, smiled, notes its nice to see you. So she can be above average in social skills; he and I want her to be happy and get back to her old self.
She still has serious anxiety, went out to get breakfast couple of days before, took a 10 minute walk and while waiting for the food the waitress said you got 2 urgent calls from your wife, she's looking for you, and she proposed to walk a mile in 95 degree heat because she did not know where I was.
She does not and has not followed the psychiatrist's plan and he's at a loss. Just got our new house, after some enthusiasm, she still has anxiety. We can wait if she does better, but then I will strongly suggest that she follow his treatment plan. A small dose of Prozac is ineffective and she refused to take Wellbutrin or other medication prescribed.
2. Dysmorphic disorder She looks good, lost about 25 lbs, most people says she looks nice, but she talks about horrible she looks, something she never used to say. When I say you look nice, she can get angry and say no.
3. Bi-polar, Anxious Jenny Should I note there are two personnas and again anxious Jenny is damaging regular Jenny, me and our family.
4. Involvement Anxious people want control, yet as a spouse or family member you may try to limit involvement because of her unpredictability, tendency to create issues or problems. You can't ask a simply question or plan an event, but need to consider multiple possibilities of what can create stress or trigger anxiety.
