Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. The thing is, I need more than just 33 mg which wasnt helping too much and when I went up to 50 mg I got soooo hyper I couldnt focus.
Theres no harm in trying!
It does, however, make me tired. I take it at bedtime. It takes an hour or two to hit me. I've read that the fatigue can go away as the drug reaches its full effectiveness (4 weeks or so). It's really not a big deal, but if I don't get enough sleep after taking it, I do drag a bit the next day. Or at least, part of the next day.

I take my zoloft after dinner now. The tiredness that is present from a difficult anxiety and/or depression day is less overwhelming, and I am able to get sleep. The side effects are noticeable when I've not taken the time to relax the tensed muscles.
It is hard to manage the symptoms that happen with any type of medicine prescribed to help with existing symptoms, because where you think the symptoms are related to anxiety, sometimes they are from the depression released from anxiety.
Best wishes, and hope you find what works for you.
