My doctor doesn't check my INR, I haven't seen a single test result for that, and don't even know how often it should be checked. I do have the icky symptoms you talk about! When I first began Plaquenil about a month ago, I got hit with the worst ever episode.. Everything hurt, I was so tired I slept whole days at a time, and I couldn't think straight, couldn't read my college textbooks or put paragraphs together to submit essays.
I wouldn't worry about the red spots unless they grow in size.
