I have major swelling that moves to different areas, during flares, but mainly my neck. my spine just below my neck has curved out and I look like the hunch back. I did not know untill now that any of this was normal for as. My blood wrk is pos for ana and as. But my x rays show no damage. So my family Dr is second thinking the dx, but is still treating my pain. I cant get back into see reumy till june, I seen him once a year ago.
I have any changes to the tissues in my spine or si joints... it is also to have more than one autoimmune desiese at a time... which is probably why u havre a positive ana. Is there another dr. You can call? I had to do that... I waited over a month then they called me to postpone... I called another dr and she got me in asap... anyways... I wish I could be more help to u hun... I am new to this too... I get my results from my mri on Thursday... what was your inital dx? And what symptons do u hAve?
