Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
Wishing you well.
Everyone has their own reasons for SI. I have cut on and off for about 9 years. I know it can be hard to stop. I did it daily for years and now i hardly do it at all.
Have you thought about counselling? CBT therapy is very effective in regards to stopping cutting. There are distraction teqniques online that you could google. I've found lists that have 300 things to do on them.
It's about finding the one or ones that work for you. However if you don't work through the issues around the cutting then chances are nothing is going to work or make you stop.
I know how strong that pull is and even the people that love you most just aren't enough for you to not do it.
