Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.

I work as a cake decorator at a grocery store, and I have had this position for about 7 months now. The other day I noticed that this particular job is causing me a lot of stress, and when I start feeling that stress, especially the way I did the other night, I get uncontrollably angry. The problem is that, because I'm at work, I can't stop and talk to anybody to vent, I can't express to anyone how mad I am, and I end up hitting something or knocking something over and causing myself even more problems than I had to start with! I am the newest cake decorator in our bakery, and the senior cake decorator always does her best to make sure she never has to do any work, she puts it all on me. When we come in for the day, our first priority is supposed to be cake orders, our second is to fill our case. She normally comes in at 7 a.m. and I don't come in until 11, so when I come in to work and the case is empty, the orders aren't finished and she says, "Oh I had to clean the freezer out this morning", I get really angry. I start thinking, "It took you FOUR HOURS to clean out a freezer??", but I can't say anything for fear of getting in trouble. I hardly EVER take my breaks like I'm supposed to for fear of getting behind because I'm so rushed, all day long. I start working as hard as I can, and it seems like as soon as I get the orders done and start working on filling the case, every time I put a cake out, someone buys it. So then I start getting upset and think ugly thoughts about the people who come and buy the cakes, even though I know it's not their fault, and it's not them that I'm mad at. It just seems to escalate from there. Any time someone walks anywhere near the cake case I start thinking, "They'd better not buy something.. they'd better not!". The smallest things start making me angry, it's like all the bottled up stress and anger try to erupt, but can't. I start getting angry about the tone in peoples' voices when they ask me questions, even if there isn't a tone in their voice. Then a piece of paper or something falls off the counter and onto the floor and I start cursing under my breath at the inanimate object as if it were the antagonist who started the whole thing and put me in such a rotten mood. Things get progressively worse and at the end of the night I end up either hurting myself by hitting something too hard, or crying because I've gotten so mad and slammed something down so hard that it fell over and now I've made myself an even bigger mess to clean up. I've seriously thought of leaving my job, but the money situation isn't the greatest right now, so I'm afraid to. Any ideas?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
