Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
Be *VERY* careful about raising your voice at your wife to express anger - all it takes is one loud argument, a worried neighbor calls the cops, and they take you to jail. Big feminism and big government do it again to the average man!.
Point three: nobody on the management of daily strength cares about male problems - they only care about female problems. I would go and confront them on this issue - maybe they'll start listening.
drives me nuts! yor're not alone in this!
This morning I packed lunches, snacks (I forgot to pack something for their lunches) for my twin 5 year olds to take to daycare. well I was half way to work and she called me to b*#ch and complain about how I forget everything. This has only happened one other time, when they were 2. Its always the little things that get her going.
Apologies but I am just not in much of an amusement mood these days. Very little in my life is amusing anymore. All we do is fight and not even one nice evening can go by without something coming up. I would get on a bus and just leave for someplace else.
I believe I had ways that irritated him just as much as he irritated me after 21 years, and SOMEHOW it all got out of hand.
I see how fed up the OP and the others are here, and I truly wish I could hand you the answer. I know it's like to not be able to stand one more second.
All I CAN do is tell you that if you choose to stay, you must do so knowing that you are NOT going to change the person and have that bus ticket or a motel room close by in case you really feel like you're going to explode/implode. I also feel we could have used many more VACATIONS AWAY FROM THE CRAP ! I'm not necessarily talking about Tahiti, but sometimes we all need a break, and it's not healthy to have ( sorry for this ) , the same old person and their sh*t swirling through our minds ALL THE TIME. It makes you crazy.
Vacation ~ even just a mental one.
If your wife is pushing you then you have to tell her to stop, plain and simple. If she won't stop then you have to decide if and how you want to continue in the relationship. One idea is that the two of you could fnd a good therapist so you can work it out.
Another suggestion is that you might want to look into assertiveness training. I"ve never takenit but from what I've heard it can be very helpful with this kind of thing.
