Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
People seem so fake, so eager to make sure they are a cookie-cutter version of the next person.
Businesses operate as unethically as they possibly can. It's a question of which company you will select to cheat you out of your money. And the less you have, the more infuriating that is.
And it's almost impossible to get a straight answer out of anybody, about anything. If somebody has no idea, they will just make something up, as a child would do. I got a page long e-mail today, where the person totally had no clue what she was talking about.
It's ok though - if you ask a question, you don't know the answer, so I'll just make up a bunch of stuff - and you won't know.
I think there are plenty of people who are full of rage and anger. Too many things are just way too backward, it's difficult to connect with other people (impossible for me).
I can't talk about my anger without mentioning this -
Human hair in breads, pizza, cake mixes. Not being able to grab a hamburger if I'm traveling, or buy take-out pizza is so depressing. Consumers totally decide things like that. Plenty of people now know about this, but they don't care.
It makes me wonder just how vile and disgusting something would have to get, before people would have a problem with it.
What do they tell themselves? Oh well, everybody else eats it.
A good example of how selfish and totally self-absorbed people have gotten: pediatricians have started telling mothers that they need to put their phones down some of the time and make eye contact, and give their full attention to their child.
I'm in a pretty good mood as long as I don't think about anything that reminds me of other people. I'm getting better at it.
Humor is a good release. And walking/running and exercise. Finally, I can say that without feeling hypocritical. I walk most days. Very calming.
It's too bad that it isn't easier to find a really good best friend, as it was in first grade. Having someone who has your back is everything. As Maya Angelou said, "I've got my own back," but truthfully, it's so great to have someone you can count on.
Anger can be very difficult to cope with, especially on your own. Some people release their anger by reliving the moment with others in hopes of gaining approval or support. They cry about how someone made them mad (play a victim) but in a vain effort to appear strong they try to act like it didn't bother them (play a tough guy). They have trouble with acknowledging and addressing their own insecurities and shortcomings. Others are like you and they suppress it. They know it's bad but they just can't shed the anger and they know no positive way of releasing it so they suppress it.
