Anger Management Support Group
Anger management commonly refers to therapeutic techniques by which someone with excessive or uncontrollable anger can control or reduce their emotions. Typical examples include the use of deep breathing and meditation as a means to relaxation. Psychologists recommend a balanced approach, which both controls the emotion and allows it to express itself in a healthy way.
SarBear- I really like the Biting your Tongue before speaking advice.
Last night, our neighbors to the back of our house (our back yards connect) had yet another loud party. They play very loud annoying music, they drink and they like to be outside yelling and screaming and laughing very loud. Their kids also are in the back yard, during the party running around and doing the same, yelling and screaming. We have talked to them in the past, we have mailed them a nice letter, we have at times even yelled at them to be quiet from our window.. But nothing helps. Once they had a professional DJ out in the back yard, they were so loud that the windows in our house were shaking. That time we did call the police. Now last night again another loud party. We waited until midnight and we called the police again. The party settled down. I like the idea of Breathing and meditation, but once that is done, how do we go to sleep with the huge noise disturbance? Are we going to have to call the police every time they have a party?
