I was wondering if anybody else has this problem. Now if I can explane this right, when you are setting down with your leg relax can you move your stump inside of your socket like back and forth a little. My does I was wondering if this is the norm or maybe I should go and put on more sock's. It doesn't bother me when I walk or I don't notice it as much when standing on it, just when I am setting down. I know after almost 4 years I should know this by now but I guess I am a slow leaner.

I think when you are sitting down you are putting less pressure on the stump.If it doesnt move around alot when you walk then I think it is fine.You could always ask your prosthetist about it though.

I agree...and if you have a vacuum system then pressure is less then when walking and so it will feel looser..but not "loose". Just add 1 or 2 ply and as long as it doesn't feel like its squeezing your stump then you're ok. Listen to me..lol...I'm just a newbie, and think I know what I'm doing .....NOT. Dean

Yes I can move mine a little. But I am not sure how much of it is the meat moving around.or is it the bone moving in the meat? If I add a sock,then it would be to tight.

I just saw my prosthetic person last week for this same condition, he made me add more socks. maybe you should talk to yours and try to put more socks on.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
