I am wearing the smallest size gel liner that I can right now. I have noticed when I take it off for a break the end of my stump is cold to the touch and takes a while to feel warm - has anyone ever had this problem? Just wondering if I should be concerned. Jody

Hope this may help you...
My stump bottom feels cold to touch, when I don't ware liner or leg. The told me it is normal from being amputated. Lack of circulation.

I too have the same problem, I was told the same as robin101. Sometimes I can't stand it and I use a heating pad on the lowest setting{because of diabetes} to warm it. I have been an amputee for almost 5 yrs. and it's still that way. Mine is the same if I have my leg on or not.

My stump is usually hot and sweaty when its been in a gel liner.
Dont usually get a cold stump?
