Ok...Here's another question. How much weight did you loose after your amputation? I lost about 41lbs...it was mostly leg...some was from not eating due to chemo...dang, after loosing all that weight I only lost one clothing size...I finally reached my ideal weight yetI'm still chubby??? Somethings outa wack! Never realized how heavy a leg could be. I tried to find out from the oncologist what my leg weighed but he didn't know...told me to ask my surgeon.

I lost about 67 lbs. but i was out of it most of july and aug. Not sure how i was being fed. I know most of it was my leg but I could tell alot was me to. Now I have gained back abut 30 of those pounds.. sigh...

It's been so long ago, I don't remember how much weight I lost, truthfully I don't think I even weighed myself or noticed. But my artificial leg weighs 9 lbs.

I am like Kinzy it has been so long ago I don't remember.I am sure everyone would have to loose some weight though.The limb has to weigh some plus not eating before and a little after surgery.

I lost about 25 lbs my doc says my BKA made me instantly lose 12 lbs

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
