what to do

hoping someone can help me,not sure what to do,the infection in my good leg is not clearing up with the antibocits and the doctors want to open up the leg and scrap the bone to yry and get rid of the infection, but the only the thing is if its doesnt look good they will ampute the le below kneeand not to sure if i could cope with having both les one .Just wondering if i should try herbs or different medicine before having surgery any advice would be helpful thankyou

Infections are very serious and the longer you wait the worse it could get.If you wait to long they may have to amputate more.Your life is more important than your limb.You are stronger than you think.Good luck with whatever choice you make.

I agree with Brandi24, you will come out on the good side of it, always think good and good will come to you. It is best to listen your your doctors. If you don't agree with them get a second opinion to make sure thats is a good course to take if your able to.

I know I was scared the last time I had surgery, because I am so short that if something went wrong there goes my knee no room to spare. It did work out for me so I am happy with the outcome.

I agree with Brandi24 too. You have look at it as no matter what something has to be done before the infection gets worse. You dont want the infection to spread farther up your leg. I don't know of any herbs that would get the infection to subside. But if you go with an herb I heard from an old mexican women that OSHA is a pretty good one. http://www.innvista.com/health/herbs/osha.htm
I also like using echenecea to boost my imune system as well as coconut oil. I don't know of your pre-existing codition and I am not a doctor. I would defininatly not take that infection lightly.

Just adding in you do not want to mess with infections it could take your life and quickly. The infections today are not like they use to be when the Dr would give you an antibiotic and it would clear up.. there are mutations of different stains of bugs out there and unless your doctor has tested the infection specificaly to find what kills the bugs then you could take herbs for one kind of infection spending time to wait for it to clear up and you may have a different stain of infection that herb does not kill. It is best to follow your doctor orders and if you want get a 2nd opin. but don't wait long. Keep in mind another thought, your doctor already knowing your compromised situation the last thing he will do is risk you losing your good leg. If he is a good doctor his best interest in you is for you to keep your good leg.

I agree. A great fear of mine is that I will lose the other leg some day...but I would not risk losing my life in order to save it. I am in agreement with Brandi24, and think that we all are much stronger than we think we are.
