I came home from work a few weeks ago to find my husband vacuuming the carpet. I could see he did not look right (he's disabled and suffers chronic angina and should not have been doing this). I asked him if he was ok but he broke down and started crying and said he didnt know who I was and didnt even know who he was. I had our son drive us to the ER because I thought he was having a stroke due to his heart problems.
In the ER he told the Dr that all he could remember were two things: he knew who God was and our 5 yr old grandson. After about 12 hours he began to remember bits and pieces but didnt remember me until he woke up after being in there for 48 hrs.
They said it happens more that you might think and that it sometimes occurs after a migraine headache. Although we know that he didnt have a migraine. I think it was a side effect of a medication he takes called Lyrica. Its very scary not knowing for sure what caused it and if it will occur again or not. Supposedly it is rare to have it happen again but there is no guarantee of course.

I went to the doctor a while ago to see about my allergies. He rubbed my arm and stuck things under the skin. Nothing. He poked and prodded, his phlebotomist drew so much blood people thought that we were dating. The tests all came back negative. Then one day I went back and I told him that I had found the cause of my allergy. It turns out, I am allergic to betrayal.
