hey, my boyfriend of two years had a muscle spasm and smashed his head on a table. he had a mild head trauma and lost all his memory. i read up on amnesia diagnostics, and the most likely sounding one is TBI, its been 2-3 days since the accident. and he still doesnt remember me. he just knows from the few people who were around him after he hit his head that im his girlfriend. im going to see him in a few days i just want some information on how i should deal with this?

Try and treat him like you did before. I have lost 14 years. When I woke up there were a few, very few, people that treated me like nothing had changes. It was frustrationg but at the same time it helped.

I think it depneds, when i met my bf for the 1st time after I lost my memory I was very very scared. I dont think it would have been good if he came up to me and touched me, we have gone back to the basics, we have had to start all over, and I know its very very hard on him but he undertsnads that to me, he is a starnger that I do not know him and that in my mind i have not even had my first kiss yet. He tells me that if i desied that I do not want to be with him he will be fine with it, but even tho i lost all my memorys, i am still drawn to not only him but to anyone that i had spent time with. Its like when you see someone you met one time in a crwoed and your tryign to figuer out how you know them, thats what everyoen is to me, i know i know them but idk how.

Im ready to start...
