Dear all,
I hope you don't mind me posting on here, and I apologise for the intrusion.
I am a documentary maker from the UK, and I'm researching into amnesia for a forthcoming film. It's specifically about how sudden memory loss affects not just the individual, but the whole family.
I'm looking to speak to people who are going through this right now, just on a research basis for the moment.
If there are any people from the UK who are members of this group who might like to share their experiences, please do get in touch through this forum.
Thank you.

I'm actually in the middle of editing a ficticious book about amnesia and the effects it has on the family. We're almost in the same boat! :)

The effects are hard on both the family and the person. I have 4 kids that I don't remember anything about and several great neices and great nephews. It is scary to try and figure out how to start a relationship with people that expect you to be the same person you were, when you can't remember who you were.

Its very hard, I think it is harder on the family then on the person. My mom is having an awful time, because to me she is a starnger everyone around me is a starnger, and its hard to listen to them tell me what to do and where to go and when i can go. Its hard because they dont know whats going on in my head, they have no way to understand what i am going threw and all they want to do is help, there is just nothign that they can do.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
