It would depend on how much time I could actually do what I would want to do. If you are meaning when this is over, say it were to be over tomorrow, I would get all dressed up, take myself to the best restaurant that serves Salmon, go to 2 or three movies, then I would plan the best "Road Trip" ever with whoever would be willing to go with me. And then I would plan another and another. Maybe I would stop and visit one of you along my way. Maybe one of you would even want to go along with me. I would promise you that it would probably be the best "Road Trip" you would or have ever been on. Then when or if I get my sense of adventure out of me, I might settle down for a spell, but I have way too many lost years to catch up on right now.

Good question, Deborah. I hope this is the answer you were hoping to hear from me. It shows that I still have some hope for a bright future, even though sometimes my posts seem otherwise.

How about the rest of you? And are you all still planning on meeting sometime in early September? I sure hope so.

Sharon's plans made me smile. I remember before Ron died.. thinking that when ever I was free I was going to dance naked around the town square ! :-D

Actually I have been a little hesitant about activities. I have had a few day trips with my daughter and some friends, met up with high school pals, and some impromptu things. I think the last minute things have been the most fun. Just to think I can pick up and do something NOW is such a joy.

Yes, that's it, if you could just pick up and go, and Sharon, I will be happy to take a road trip with you.

Sharon & Deb I am definitely with you on your road trip. I try to think positively that there will be a future for all of us. I have a work friend that was caregiver to her hubby for around 15 or 20 years before he died. She was well into her 50's or early 60's when he died. She is still working as a nurse but has traveled all over the world since he died. That is why she continues to work even though she is in her late 60's. She has been all over Europe. Took the first voyage on the QE2. She has been to Vietnam, Africa and all over the USA as well. I can only hope that I am able to see more of our beautiful USA before I leave this earth. I have only been to Florida for a funeral and to North Carolina to visit my kids and to Washington DC on my high school senior trip........pitiful isn't it?

Sharon, Deb & Judy you would all be most welcome to stop in for a visit at our home. We have a restaurant that serves the absolute best filet and crabcakes in the world. I can only imagine how wonderful their salmon would be but I haven't ordered it as yet.

I really like the cruise idea. And yes, Judy, we will will allow you to dance naked if you wish. Maybe some of us would even join you. I think I did say maybe, which means "not very likely", but one never knows what they may do, do they?

I would get my novel written....it's waited through so many years because of all that's happened to me and to my parent's and other members of my family. I am hoping to begin again very soon and work on it. But not until I get my chapter written for "our book".
