I know your glad to have him home, and believe your new found energy wont let you down. But...Im with you in a way in thinking I wonder how long the "understanding and patience" will go. More power to you hon, I dont think I could do it knowing what had happened before, taking my mom back in now....would virtually destroy me. god forgive me for that.
You are very blessed Deb, and I stand in awwww over your committment, and loyalty as well as many here. I just cant relate sometimes because I think Ive become very selfish and cold hearted....I no longer want to do it...NONE of it. If God wont take mom home, maybe he will put meout of my own misery because Im ashamed of how I feel about it all right now.
Sorry about the welcome home present (poop patro!!!)
.......some things never change do they.
Love you , hang in there thats all we can do....Hugs Sherri
I am happy that Rollie did well in respite but even happier that you got some time away from the daily grind. Did Rollie lose that 12 pounds during that time. Did they say he wasn't eating?
I am sure it made you feel really good that he recognized you. Welcome back......Jeanmarie
It has been 49 years ago today that my mother died. I had just turned 16. i can recall it like it was yesterday.
