Well, I received a letter from my doctor, she wants me to come back because they saw something unusual in my mammogram. She had felt a 'hard spot' in my annual physical. I actually have a mamo yearly because I have a terrible family history of breast cancer. In fact one of my aunts is just now recovering. My grandfather's 4 sisters all died of breast cancer and two of my aunts have had it, all on my mom's side. At first I could not feel anything but now I can, it is actually a long thin hard spot not a small round spot. So I am hoping it turns out to be something harmless. Sigh, really, did I need to have this to worry about?
Stress is a known increase risk for almost any disease so all of us are at risk for something.........I just hope and pray every day that it is ANYTHING but Alzheimer or dementia!! Love you, Jeanmarie
If things do turn out badly and you have cancer I hope you will investigate the insulin infusion therapy too. You can google it online but what I understand is cancer cells go crazy for insulin so this therapy cultures the cancer to determine the exact kind and then packs the meds in insulin so only the cancer cells themselves are killed and you do not need chemo with all the side effects.
