My husband has been in a nursing home almost 4 years now and for some reason I'm having more difficulty than ever coping with this season.
No doubt my recent move has something to do with it as is having almost no family. I don't feel like accepting invitations to Christmas dinners as I don't want people to feel sorry for me.
Anyone out there share my blahs? I will be glad when January comes.

I have invitations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.... I hardly feel up to going.
My Mom is in a SNH , I visited this week, she was cheerful, but doesn't even realize it's Christmas
