Now I will use that same sentence to get through "one more day" in recovering my own life and happiness, instead of trying to live in the saddness and grief that seems to be everlasting.
Happy New Year to you, and all here at DS. I hope it brings peace to everyone, and along with it some calm. I know there will be more storms in the horizon, I just hope I can prepare just a little before each hit.

Somehow we do get through it... it just changes everyday .......but in the course of it all.... so do we and I think that is the key! They say what doesn't kill us makes us stronger and I am beginning to think "they" are right.
You will get through it, difficult as it is and honestly on the days it is just too hard..God will carry you until you snap back.

I'll face the final decision in another 8 months but I'm pretty much at my wits end. I used to think it would be easier for me to treat this as a job and since I don't have much of an emotional attachment, it would easier for me. I guess care giving simply is not an easy or pleasant task for anyone whether you love the person or not, ti will eat you alive.
