I haven't been posting as much or commenting as much because, well, I am emotionally spent with this job. I am beyond tired even though I get enough sleep. It is an exhaustion that goes much deeper because my mind is exhausted too! I am emotionally numb.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I love and care for you all as much as ever, I feel your pain and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. There is no doubt we will end up in heaven together.

Before we meet in heaven Deb, I want to meet you in Vegas. You sound like you really need this trip and I know the rest of us do as well. I think after we put a face to the names we have bared our souls to we will become even closer and an even stronger support for one another.

Whether or not you post every day doesn't matter.......you are always in my prayers Just make sure you check in to let us know you are ok and vent your heart out when you feel the need. Love you, Jeanmarie

i honestly can't imagine what you are going through. i used to spend 5 to 6 hours a day with my mom, and when i left i would be completely spent. i will keep you in prayer.

Deborah, I have a bit of an idea of what you are going through. My husband had been in the nursing home 3 1/2 months now and I'm just beginning to feel a little better.
No one who is not doing this job 24/7 can understand fully the physical and emotional toll it takes on us.
A Vegas trip sounds wonderful if you can swing it but even just getting away for a couple of hours would do you some good.
Try and take care of yourself so that you can be there for hubby.

My dear friend;

I am right with you as you know we have discussed. I understand and feel your pain and exhaustion, we try and try and try but there is just so much one can give.

I know no answers anymore and have given it up to God...His will be done.

We need to include Sherbear and Inmemoryof in Judy's prayer also. I can't believe there are so many of you in what seems to be so close to the end of this journey.

Ingelo is right though, unless you spend 24/7 with them, it is impossible to know how very hard and heart wrenching it is.

Sherbear, you have the right idea for everyone. Give your troubles to God and BELIEVE he will handle them in his own time and way.

I love you all and don't know how I would have gotten through these last 6 mo. without you. I think it was a much higher power that connected me to DS when i did. It saved my sanity.
