I wouldn't trade our happy years because of the sad end. And.. he gave me 2 wonderful kids.
Just another way to appreciate and remember the good stuff.
I'm very proud of you, Deborah. We tend to forget just how young you are to be faced with such a burden....or at least I do.
I am so very happy for you that you have found some peace and good. Everything you said is so true nd I hope each and everyone of us has faith in a greater power than ourselves as it really does help.I don't think it matters so much which faith just FAITH!
I believe all faiths are wonderful and inspiring and help so much to get us through the bad times and appreciate the good. I happen to be Catholic and would be completely lost with out my faith.
We all have our down times , we are just human, but with faith we pick ourselves up and try again.......without it I think we would drown in all this. I have learned to accept that I am not perfect and will fail sometimes on this journey but the real test is that I try again ....and again ....and again....and knowing I will fail again is OK!
I do my best and some days my best is better than others. As Judy said I treasure all the wonderful years with my guy and wouldn't trade that even knowing that this was waiting for me at the end. Is it tough , you bet, will I fail agin , you bet..........but do we have fleeting moments of "I love YOu" like Deb said ....YES! and they make it worth it and at the end of a decent day ...I feel good about myself!
At that moment I knew that he still knew me and cared.
