Yes, it's 2 AM and guess who is shuffling of to Buffalo. He WILL NOT stay in bed. He insists on getting up and wandering around.

Oh, joy, now he is peeing on the floor.

Deb, Is he on any meds at bedtime. Since I switched Tom's Seroquel and Aricept to 10pm he is sleeping soundly all night.....and is much more alert in the morning. Hugs to you....Vegas is less than a month away.....can't wait to meet you

yes, he is on Temazepam and it was working great until a few days ago. I guess we need something new.

the good news is that he sleeps in so I do too.

Hi, I went through all that with mom. I could not get any sleep at night. She would get up and urinate on the floor run around her room and bang on the door to get out.

If he can't sleep you must get new medicine for him.

Sounds like meds need to be tweaked.....asap....

glad you can sleep in..not as good as a regular night but sleep is not negotiable....

Oh Deb, nothing like not getting the right sleep. Sadie was getting up a few times during the night and wandering. Pulling her shades up, opening her window, pulling the sheets off of her bed, knocking her rail off of her bed, peeing on her mattress. I started giving her a tylenol pm with her regular medicine and so far it has worked. Whew!!!!

I feel for you buddy...Rob gets up ever night too. and early in the AM to start his (my) day and no naps during the day. For sime reson he doesn't seem to need sleep at all!

The seroquel (.25mg) that was helping for a couple weeks doesn't do the trick anymore. The other night I doubled it and still nothing!!! I give up.

Rollie's doc says to double up his Restaril. She said she doesn't recommend Benadryl because they may actually get pumped up on it and no one wants that! LOL
