Hi folks, first let me say many thanks to everyone that responded to the post by Dibbie re: (Norm and Barry) which is very much appreciated and I apologize for being so negligent over the past few weeks for which I have no excuse except to say that for my part daily life has started to become far, far more difficult, I seem to be getting extremely more confused of late forgetting what Im doing or should be doing, and just sit starring at the computer screen with my fingers and brain not knowing what to do
Ive also been extremely busy with updating my own website thats now gone into a festive mode that you might like to have a look at with its special Christmas pages on the link below (you can post comments on the sites content which are always most welcome)
Another reason is that at this time of year as Christmas approaches I have a tendency to get extremely depressed with a strong yearning for my homeland in the UK and to see my 4 children who I have not seen for the past 12 years and my 4 grandchildren who I have never seen or had the joy to embrace, and as each day passes by until Christmas the yearning for my children becomes stronger with all the memories of their own childhood and the Christmas festivities rushing into my brain which if Im honest now makes me cry as there is no way that I could now get back home to see them so for me Christmas becomes an extremely lonely time but as I always say Theres always somebody worse of than me and after all the festivities are over I know I will bounce back again.
Best wishes to you all and could I just say that at this festive time of year please give extra thought and attention to anyone who has any type of dementia as for some of us it can also be an extremely confusing time of the year!
