Have fun camping and if your are camping anywhere near water, don't drown.

I had a really nice weekend, my daughters did everything. They packed, cooked, prepared everything. The weather was nice, not too hot, not too cold at night. This year I purchase a cot instead of sleeping on an air mattress. I decided that I have reached a point in my life where I deserve some creature comforts, LOL.

We camped along the Mokelumne River but far enough away so my grandsons couldn't walk there. The river is busting out of it's banks and freezing cold this year, many of the sites we usually camp at were under water. We kept the boy away from that!

My daughter's friend came with her 4 1/2 year old son. It was wonderful to watch the 3 boys play together. They had NERF swords and it reminded me of Peter Pan's Lost Boys! There was very little trouble they could get into, they ran around, played and were filthy dirty each day before we washed them and slipped them in their little sleeping bags. No TV, Video games, no "I'm bored what should I do now?"

Tomorrow I get Rollie, should be interesting.

Glad you had a good time. Now back to reality.
