I am wanting all things back that meant we get to have a 'normal life"
the green monster.........
of healthy couples.
We have talked about this before.. and I haven't improved much.
I just feel so robbed of our retirement and the plans we made.
I don't think there is any cure for this condition. At least I haven't
found one.
Even with Ron gone now.... I still feel the resentment and envy.
Not a pretty state is it ?
As you can tell. I am trying to look for the positive. Some times it works, but most time it doesn't. Sure wish I could just drop by one of your homes for a "diet coke". That would make me feel better.
Have a good day and a better tomorrow.
Love to all of you,
Sharon
We once had such a wonderful relationship. He loved me more than life and I knew that he would love me forever. He spoiled me rotten with love, things he did for me, gifts he gave me and to see it going down the drain day by day and hour by hour is a horrible thing to see.
He has almost stopped talking and that is the worst thing for me. I even liked his ornery talk but I sit there and try to get him to talk, but he looks at me as if to say, "I've said it all and now it's time to stop."
OK, time to pull up my big girl panties and put on my smiley face. Gotta go and be upbeat and wonderful and talk enough for both of us.
Take care and hang in there
Hugs
My ex and I remained close friends and I miss him all the time. He was my perfect match and I still miss him after 10 years. He even understood why I had to leave him for reasons that are another story.
All of my friends are happily married. I miss that and yes, I am a brilliantly shining green alien.
I had my best friend over for breakfast this morning and she lost her dad a few years ago and was a wonderful caregiver for him with Parkinsons/dementia. She tells me she and her hubby are going to Italy on their next anniversary. I am so happy for her but so jealous. I cried when she left knowing that we will never share any of those amazing things together. I so miss all of the things we had hoped to do when we were young. Guess you just never know what God's plan is for you. I really wish I understood......maybe it would make this journey just a tad easier.......the only good thing that I can think of is the friends who are complete strangers yet like sisters to me that have helpfed me to maintain my sanity..........love you all.....Jeanmarie
