I think that I actually may be at a point of acceptance with all of this, it seems like I don't need to vent as often, I don't feel as angry anymore, I feel more at peace with the way things are and what is to come. I still have moments when I get teary eyed or I get frustrated but these periods don't seem to last as long or as intensely. Part of this I attribute to family and friends who have followed through on their commitments to help and my own personal commitment to allow myself time to myself.
It's like when it occurs to you.. that no matter what you do, the outcome will be the same - That we can begin to regain ourselves.
What you have achieved, I am sure through a long process, is
inspiring and in its own particular way, hopeful.

Today my older daughter came home from school and she said she had been driving along and came to a funeral procession and she just lost it, she just started crying and crying. It just hit her that the end is coming for her step dad.
