I don't take anything for depression. I don't think I am depressed. That is not to say I don't feel like crap some days. But I always feel
better, happy when I get away from the house or when someone comes over.
Most important here is to take care of yourself. Let us know how
things work out.
Hugs !
What I do instead is take vitamin supplements that are supposed to aid brain health, you know the ones they recommend for alzheimers but also heavy B-vitamins and that seems to help most of the time, also use teas such as chamomile, sage and catnip to help, I've found all of them to be very soothing.
I do not use any ant-depressants, like Judy I have my down days but I can usually pick myself back up.I try to walk or do a run a much as I can but some times it is difficult to be consistent because of weather and getting some one to stay with Ken.
But, if a person can take a med to give you a better quality of life I say take it. I have read that they can lose their affect if taken for a ling period of time.
Your daughter is probably right buy suggesting to see your doctor and ,maybe changing the meds.
You need to take care of your self.
You have always been so up when you post. I hate to see you down. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
I'm sure glad your feeling better..
