There are people here that changed the course of my life.

That is pretty freakin powerful.

More than a handful of you have been angels in my journey over the last couple years. I have thanked God for YOU specifically, numerous times.

I think you know who you are. I'd like to make a list, but to forget to name even one would be tragic... ;)

It's a great day and month for feeling gratitude, which is such a healing emotion/thought.

There are a handful that I pay close attention to and have grasped on to some of their wisdom.
In my world it is strictly supplemental to the F2F world of action.
This place also has the potential to keep an alcoholic sick out of the fear factor.

I started this journey on DS when I had about 6 months of sobriety. I now have 4 years. I started corresponding with Cathy (care bear)
We still talk on the phone and last summer I was able to go visit her for the first time! I hugged her so hard and almost started crying. God put her in my life. I am greatful, she helped me through some tough times.

I was reading this site for three years before I joined. The people here totally changed my view on what alcoholism is.

What I learned here gave me that final push to seek help in real life.
