You should be very proud of yourself 2 years sober is great. People hear gave me some good advice yesterday, Don't worry about the past and take it one day at a time. That made me think and it helped me out.

Have you lost faith in the rooms or some of the people in some of the rooms?

Two years sober is wonderful. its where I am too and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for sobriety, family, friends, a loving God of my understanding and AA.
If you've lost faith, consider why? Has God moved/ changed or have you?
I had my faith and trust tested pretty mightily with a misscarriage and a near death / close call. It had the odd and unexpected result of increasing my faith. I mean I'm an alcoholic. I drink over everything and nothing, and I didnt even *think* of drinking over this.
I would love to lend you some of my faith and would if I could. But we all have to find our own road although yes sometimes it gets pretty damn bumpy.
Hang in there. Pray and keep your face turned up to the light, not the ground.

I remember when I first got sober, my sponsor asked me for help. I helped her and she screwed me. This was my very first sponsor but for some reason, I "got it" that she was a "drunk" too. So, I got myself another sponsor. It was upsetting, it was disillusioning, but after all, she was "struggling" like I was, just in a different way.

This stuff is hard sometimes, but it's always simple. If the rooms or relationships in the rooms get strange, I confront it, another lesson for me, because confrontation is hard for me, so another "opportunity" to get better...there are no coincidences...everything presented is for a reason... .every "struggle" a gift.

Everything that involves people can get messed up sometimes. That is why I was always told to rely on the principles of the program and a power greater than myself. People are fallible and make mistakes, we cannot rely on them to keep us sober. We can rely on the program and a power greater than ourselves. Whatever is wrong you can work through it using the principles of the program. Also I try to remember that I am not going to meetings for myself I am going to carry the message of recovery to someone who might need to hear what I have to say. I try not to look at things from a selfish perspective but from how can I be of service to others. Also to remember that if I try to apply the principles of the program to whatever situation I am in then it might not work out the way i want it to or the way that I think it should but it will work out in the most spiritual way.
