Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
Maybe it's because of system limitations, but it makes it very hard to establish what mistake I made so that I can stop doing it in future - I'm in heaps of different groups and post widely so there's no chance I'd know.
So in the end I was just left hanging, wondering if I was in imminent peril of being banned, but not know why.
It's like in real life getting a fine from the Police but them not telling me for what!! lol
Years ago I called 911 because this man I hardly knew started going wacko on me. The cops came ( handsome, young men- be still my heart)and one said, "Uh, Mam, do you know you have an outstanding warrant?" I had no clue and asked for what reason. They said they didn't know but it was old and to take care of it on Monday.
So I Monday I went to take care of it.
It was $290
Again, I asked what it was for.
They told me they didn't know because it was too old.
I asked how can they put a charge on something they don't even know what they are charging me for?
Didn't matter. They ended up making me go thru the booking procedure.
I told the woman doing my prints that I felt like I was a frickin criminal.
She said I was.
Too much.

That's the forum for this type of discussion, as opposed to this one, the Alcoholism Support Group. Looks like lots of "the powers that be" participate in that board. Maybe you can have your questions answered there or promote whatever change you are looking for.
Getting a lot of agreement (or not) on this board isn't going to do anything except to get a lot of people agreeing (or not.) You aren't going to change a thing by posting threads like this here, except possibly distracting people trying to come to terms with their alcoholism.
