I am grateful for being sober, smokefree, recovery on many issues.

Grateful for adult daughter and 7 grandchildren. Having a roof over my head and heat. I have a job. Having food on the table. A car that runs.

I am grateful for is I am not caught up in the past. Most important my spirituality. Grateful for the teachers in my life. And there were many.

I am not grateful for much, sad to say. I guess, I am grateful for a (temporary) roof over my head, heat and enough food to eat. But wherever I am now was because of my own making. I just want this whole holiday season to be overwith.

I am grateful for LIFE....I am grateful that I have two arms, two legs, good healthy organs....my health. I feel like with time, god, and hard work anything is posible....
I am also grateful for my family, my friends, all the good heart in the world....

im so grateful i realized how precious life is... before i didnt care period..what day?.. what month?..what week?..didnt matter..now its the only thing that matters..the rest i take with ease these days..sobriety,food,shelter..is also up there..but not wasting a precious breath on bull is at top of my list.

No longer am I blinded by Alcohol.
No longer am I deafened by Alcohol.
No longer are my nerve endings coated by Alcohol. No longer is my breath stain by Alcohol. No longer is my blood stream 75% Alcohol.

To all those things and more I am greatful to be sober today.

I am grateful that I am sane and still have enough brain cells left to be fairly intelligent after all the shit I've put myself through. I'm sober today. I'm safe, have a nice apartment and good food to eat. I have potential to change who I am and my life and am making progress in my healing and recovery. I have hope. And friends now. My health is still intact and I'm getting healthier. Well wishes and hugs to everyone
