Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Sounds like he was done don't ya think?
"Alcohol saved my life" Not everyone understands that but so true...

Goes back to are thinking.
Ha gjm -- interesting point about forgetting about being an addict.
Sorry to highjack the thread, but this is interesting, and something I've been thinking about.
I don't worry about shooting heroin. Not something I am going to do. I am not a heroin user. I would have to make a very conscious decision to use heroin.
Same with drinking. I am a non drinker. To pick up a drink would have to be a very conscious decision and not something I could be nonchalant about any more than shooting heroin or doing cocaine or even smoking a cigarette. So I don't worry about forgetting about being an addict or alcoholic, because even if I forget I still don't get to drink.
Again, it is a mind set that I have but wanted to share with you.
