Last day of 2020 is here. It is NYE day and I am so happy to know I've made it this far. I had a wicked arthritis attack in my hand that turned it into a claw quite abruptly. I was so over it. Husband was upset i loaned our car to my drunk brother. That was a thing that carried on into guilt trips for hours. He was angry at the dog taking the other dog's bone & it was bc my brother drinks and it's all my fault.
Drop mike.
I am so over it. Bottle of red would knock me out. I can stain my teeth and smell like i live under a bridge tomorrow. Exciting way to usher in 2021! Yeah sexy.
I went to bed. I am up this morning grateful i can now funnel my addiction into drinking copious amounts of coffee until i am completely psychotic. Good times.
I did buy a bag of peppermint white chocolate and some 64 cent classic candy canes i want to crush. I have heavy whip, seeing something frothy on my lip. I am thankful that my sober self didn't throw in the towel. It will be a beautiful day today because i will make it that way. You. Will. Not. Take. My. Joy.

This will be my fourth NYE sober. My wife will probably have her one glass of wine and the rest will go sour before she has any desire to have another. Really depends on what I make for dinner. I never had that problem.
Funny how our minds are wired. I love being free of that part of my life. You’re right, it was only sexy in my head. On the outside in the real world it was not so pretty. Only took me twelve years to find that out so I’m thankful for that.
You’ll notice there may be some new posts here over the next few weeks. Some people may have a chance to change their behavior and some may slip back. From my experience there is a time when we have an open window available to step through and change. I’m glad you took advantage of the one that has lead you this far. I don’t know how frequently they appear. (Insert He Man image :) or his ripped sister/lover, forget her name.... S something
