Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
For instance: When you make your bed - talk to yourself and say "I am now making my bed" - same thing with the dishes - same thing with your makeup, same thing with your hair, etc., etc.
I know that sounds kind of foolish but it is oddly calming and it really helps us stay out of the future. When you feel yourself wanting to get into the results - just don't do it. Stay in the moment and you will probably feel much less nervous.
Also - remember that fear and faith cannot co-exist in us - so pray your heart out if that is an avenue for you. I know that prayer and meditation helps clear up most fears for me.
Good luck with your interview!! God willing and the creek don't rise - you'll get that job.:)
For every one of us sitting in meetings, there are 20 - 30 people who are alcoholics but they are as ignorant of their problem as Dr. Bob was at 5:00 PM May 12, 1935. It saved Bill from another drunk and we have the opportunity to do what Bill and then Bill & Dr. Bob .
Too, one Promise of our Program is if we will learn to follow the Path our Founders blazed for us, we will have everything we need.
God bless and good luck. It does work IF we work it.
I've found peace through meditation and learning life is exactly as it is on any given Moment ...with or without my approval and most importantly service to others is the golden rule.
But it cannot be replaced by wanting something so bad I can taste it as A substitute.
That I have had to do by staying in the center and get back into the acceptance again of life is , just how it is like I said previously and become more disciplined (doubling up) on the quiet time again , reflection and meditation leads to a clear(er) mind I've found in the practice of it as a way of life just like AA's principles..
My garden / landscape endeavors are a life line with how I enjoy all that Gods grace has given me ,to enjoy and care for.... by caring for myself.
And with that comes being apart of others healing process automatically ,cause I'm not always thinking of me hmmm hope that helps Ommmmm ....my world is my oyster ...more Tabasco sauce please lol Practice , Practice Practice

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events that are apparently causally unrelated or unlikely to occur together by chance, yet are experienced as occurring together in a meaningful manner. The concept of synchronicity was first described in this terminology by Carl Gustav Jung, a Swiss psychologist, in the 1920s.[1]
The concept does not question, or compete with, the notion of causality. Instead, it maintains that just as events may be grouped by cause, they may also be grouped by meaning. A grouping of events by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.
In addition to Jung, Arthur Koestler wrote extensively on synchronicity in The Roots of Coincidence.[2]
