What does get threads closed around here? I realize nodp that moderators have a big job to do. But I'm a believer that if you don't want it out there don't post it. It seems that if the thread is that bad it should fold on it's own. Just fells a little 1984 ish.
I think that once you make a desicion to confront another menber about insincerity, or lack of willingness, that it should be done without sarcasm. On the other hand , it should be done and many of us aren't willing to do it.

As well...not responding to these types of threads does not always work as these threads are meant to charge feelings and get reactions and if there is no response to the first thread...then another more harsh one will be added for attention.
5 request to close a thread sounds like mob rule
When we are specifically on a site that is dealing with recovery why bring it into the equation? We have to deal with it everywhere else. I am speaking of one particular thread that I read this weekend admitting they are looking for attention. i DID feel sorry for this person as there are very obviously other issues they are dealing with and should be careful.
Personally, I need a new puppy or new man, which ever comes first.
