Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
That's what the solution is about for me @ this point of my recovery. What ever negative comes along I know there is a solution.
I do thing by living the steps. This deal is a process that we never graduate from.
Good stuff.

Sorry Billy-it had to be said. lol! :)
I saw him talking about LSD and it's benefits (Started his career Richard Alpert with Timothy Leary-he was the cool one-Oleary was the suck up sell out imo)as , how it was one thing that changed his way of looking at reality. Nothing is black and white, even mind altering substances. Not that I am going to go there, but it is a bizarre thing, LSD.
Another thing he said about having a stroke later in life:
"The stroke caused me to lose faith, and it was a cold, cold place, and I suddenly realized it was fierce grace.. that turned my life around."
Fierce Grace....love that
Billy (or Joe), my most negative experiences have been catalysts to my greatest growth. There's a lot to be said for goin' with the flow of life instead of against it.
I practiced these principles in all my affairs (not perfectly by any means) until they became habit. I don't pray, per say, because God is with me always. Much easier to turn to Him today, since it has been proven to me over and over again that he is very much real in my life. Always apropo topic
Each and every negative experience has pushed me to learn and grow as a better and stronger individual. They've made me an understanding and more complete person.
