I haven't called any numbers... I dont even remember the last time I posted either... but I've been doin great. I drank once about 2 months ago, but i was at home and my boyfriend made sure I was safe and everything...not like that makes it any better... but she's the closest friend I have, I don't want to skip out on her graduation party, but i'm not good around alcohol. I dont do drugs or steal or anything, but alcohol gets to me... I just don't want to mess up all my progess.

2 months without a drink is good. Your 15 and if your going to a place where alcohol is, either get a chaperone or stay home. Plenty of years ahead for parties. I'd encourage you to speak to your school counsellor. Your friend will understand im sure. Make her something special. Your safety is special enough IMO. I'll link your past thread to this one.

I don't have a school conseller.. I'm homeschooled... I completely got rid of all my old friends... Tried to start a new life... But it's this town... anywhere that has teenagers, has drinking, drugs, sex, or some other bad thing goin on. I'm stuck here, and there's nothing to do other than get into trouble.. and I really don't want to anymore. Looking back at my past, I really REALLY wish I could change a lot of things. I'm trying to, but NOBODY supports me other than my boyfriend, who is 1,400 miles away. Nobody cares if I drink or have sex or anything.. There's just no support and it's hard to change when nobody really cares if i do or not.
I'll look into a local youth support group.. But who knows, in this town it might run by a bunch of ex-cons and druggies

Do be careful. One of the most influential things in a teenagers life is peer pressure.Sometimes so much so we just give in rather than defend our positions. Drop by if you must, we only graduate once. But then i'd excuse myself and head off to somewhere safe with someone safe.

Maybe you can skip the party and have a special one-on-one planned with your friend. Maybe dinner, a manicure/pedicure. If $$ is a problem, maybe just a nice picnic and good friend-to-friend conversation.

the only time I feel that a teen should drink is under the direct supervision of their parent other than that it is illegal (didn't stop me at the time) and the only way I approve a parent allowing their teen to drink under their direct supervision is that if the parents themselves or KNOWN family members are not alcoholics - i also believe that the parent should be 100% in control of the drinking allowed - 1 beer, 1 glass of wine or champagne.

fi you already have a problem with alcohol then it doesn't take anyone to tell you what you should or shouldn't do - if your having to ask, then you already know.

gosh you do not even mention the parents of yourself here who are homeschooling you as a caring parent? what the fudge?

As for the friends party...her parents should have some control of the situation so there is no alcohol....

I know that is a thing that cannot be controlled too because I had a prom party and my parents would not let us have booze but made me a punch that I was a drunk and all my friends were drunks too and it was expected even by my parents to be spiked....it was too....but we did not really get ripped until after prom....then I passed out in the car that my friend was driving because we double dated....and he got the girls home five minutes before he cranked the stereo to wake me up....it was one of those worst nights of my life events....I really am not happy I lost that girl because of booze....

but I think you got a good idea in mind now...and showing up and then running out the other door is not a bad thing...show up let friend know your there then boogie ass outta there....

but your parents do care about you and do not surely want you drinking and having sex or using drugs...if they don't they should be shot.
