Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

There is an interesting book i once read called Romancing the Shadow. Very cool book. Feed your shadow just enough but not enough that it takes your over.
I will pick up Carr's book. Thank you for all your ideas and suggestions. I'm also looking into yoga/meditation. I'm currently struggling staying sober right now, but I'm just taking it one minute at a time.

Sobriety is achievable and can be a fun, natural way of life for you. I don't think we're nearly as successful at hiding our substance abuse as we think we are. At least that's what I discovered!
I achieved lasting sobriety through a 10-day aversion therapy program. It was intense, and sometimes brutal, but it got the job done. It's a science-based treatment that really appealed to me because it recognizes that addiction is physiological.
Current - stick on here babe - it is fascinating and something will get home to you as it will to me.

There is an aversion therapy program about 5 hours away from my home. They do advertising on radio and in the in-flight magazines on airplanes in the area.
I don't know how many programs there are throughout the world but it's definitely worth looking into.
