Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
I think primarily what is going on when I feel like this is that I get scared that I can't keep it up, which is really strange because most of the last yea has been effortless. The last few months especially have been great - maybe too good to believe I get to keep it as long as I keep doing what I am supposed to do and keep my faith.
The physical anxiety is maybe just something I am gonna have to calm as best I can. Too often, I get stressed about my anxiety and, as you can probably imagine, that only fuels the fire.

I got a little nervous at 9 months and it took me 2 weeks to pick up that chip:)
Anyway, my advice to myself when I get nervous is to focus outside myself. I pray, I read, I run, I walk, I do yoga. I meditate on the feeling. It passes and I've felt mostly great.
Just keep doing the next right thing and .....you will be fine.
I so get this and I used to think that way too. When I have HP and keep spiritually well, the promises do come true (as does the last paragraph on page 84 about 'recoil from it as a hot flame').
As was pointed out to me, faith replaces fear.
Stay close to your HP :)
