Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
You are very helpful here with your posts. You have a lot to offer people. Put it to use at your meetings. Get out there and talk to people. Listen. Share. Get a commitment and start doing some service. Get out of yourself and all the thinking that you do! It's dangerous to be in our own heads all the time. You know that.
It's really quite simple and once you do it you will be amazed at how differently you will feel.
You know me... K I S S. Keep it simple stupid! That's me!! LOL
I want you to feel good FOR REAL. As Coog says GOYA!!
Love ya :)

i think we all find at some point where we say - heck i can do it, see how long i went - soooooo what's the big deal - well the big deal is that's stinking thinking (i love that from dreamy) it's that manipulating devil playing tricks to make you slip and fall......
There's nothing wrong for SOME people who can take a very short break from structured sobriety but not all can - most of us, sober or not, function better with some sorta structure. If you notice, vacations don't normally last several months, they normally last about a week - 7 days (didn't you mention 6"7" days) well there you have it, you had your vacation from sobriety structure and now it's back to the grindstone.
Peace!
imho, find a place to bend your knees when you feel you can't win the war. Look at it as no fight.... See it as a place to think without the drink. Now, keep moving forward. Maybe take the answer of your HP.
take up yoga, yes seriously. 90 ms of moving medidation.
Go out for a walk at a set time every day. Make sure your meals are within an hour of the same time every day.
Make structure and keep yourself sober. 60 days is HUGE so don't blow it away.
