Yes DrC, it was heavy doses for me that made me tired too for so long and starting out at 13 on them (through a psychiatrist) that was before I started the drinking... Argh! I haven't been depressed since I sobered up...fancy that! I am aware another clinical depression might strike again so I would take them if necessary and you are right, they certainly are helpful when needed but I drank so long while taking them that nothing was going to help me when I sabotaged myself.
