Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

Mom starts chemo today. I've packed myself a Pam bag with self care for me. Herbal tea, book of quotes, comfy clothes, and if she gets too negative I'll excuse myself for a delicious smoothie they sell on the first floor. I'm there for her but I'm here for me too. I'm forgiving myself for my relapse and moving on. 20 days was huge. I slipped one day. I'm a work in progress. I'll be checking in :)

My only suggestion would be to take them when YOU need them (when you start to feel your stress level escalate and you need an escape).

20 days is huge and the next 20, 30 60 and 160 you get will be huge too. Lasting sobriety is possible. You are starting over. Good for you.
