Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.
My life was built on secrets and lies. And at the age of 40 when I made through the doors of AA things werent about to change overnight. And growing up in an alcoholic house didnt help because thats what you learn to do from birth. Lie and keep secrets.
But for me things did start to change when I took the program of the wall.(The 12 Steps.) and out of the BB and began to put it into my life. And by doing a moral inventory writing down the good and bad parts of my life having them all there in front of me even that one thing I was never going to tell a living person.
Then by admitting them to God myself and another human being my sponsor. I had no more secrets or lies. And in time my life became better because I was free from the bondage of self.
Live Well Love Much Laugh Often.
God Bless

Peace to you.
Nicky, you are so right. Our secrets are not for everyone to know.

What may not help me, may help another, and I've learned to move on if it's not my cup of tea. I too look forward to daily inspirations, no matter where they may be sourced from.
